Things I've done IRL because of ED

I find myself holding my hand where the throttle control is in the ship sometimes when I drive, lol.

Sometimes If I want to get home fast I try to charge my FSD too, LOL. :D

When I saw a moody girl on the street with purple hair, I thought, "She could be one of the annoying Tourists in Elite."

Same for a black guy I saw with blonde hair too...

It makes me wonder about the model girl they used for Aisling. I do hope they don't screw it up with her animated npc in season 9 like the MEAndromeda facial travesty that was done with the hottie model used for the female Ryder.

While visiting a friend in hospital who had given birth.
I asked a nurse which way to the Noob spawns area.
When I arrived I deployed my Hardpoint.

I went outside my house and looked at the sky. I could see Mercury, so I instinctively tried to go to supercruise to approach the planet and get a better look. Woops.

Similar with me, I was staring at the night sky in the park, and then realized I can actually fly there, so I went back home and I did and it was a good night :)

Having played FFE and FSX I can't really say I feel like ED in terms of physicality in the real world. When I'm coasting my cutter in for a landing I'm reminded of landing a pmdg boeing in FSX.

That said, I've imagined about ED commodities while eating or buying groceries. And wondered about how much a credit was worth in dollars. I did an extrapolation as I'm sure some of us have done where I took a price of a water bottle and from there calculated a credit in terms of dollars , and found out that gold was back to 1970's levels so maybe a good thing with thousands of worlds, some went back to the gold standard. And practically every player pilot in the pilot's federation (those that already survived long enough to upgrade from the starting sidewinder) is already a rich multi-millionaire in the top 2% of all the trillions of people in the civilized bubble, lol.

I'm pretty sure there is lore indicating that the Galactic credit definitely puts pilots on a completely different level from the masses, so I'm pretty sure you're right. I wish I could remember where I saw it though.

Whenever i'm looking at the moon and the sun......and the rest of our solar system i think: YES, i was already there! While the NASA still struggle to get to the Mars lol
