Things to do in Elite when you're 'bored'.....

On the back of this excellent thread by Cmdr. Hagglebeard, I thought it would be useful and fun to compile a list of things to do in Elite when you think you've reached the end of the line and have 'nothing left to do'. So I've created a form (link below) where people can enter their suggestions. I'll then add try and sort them into some sort of categories, throw in some eye candy and put it up for people to get some inspiration from.

The ideas can be anything: original, fun, stupid and can include stuff that's already out there (i.e. Buckyball Run), something you've done or thought of doing. Just use your Imagination(TM)!

Do assist smuggling.

1. Take a fast ship that is well armed (Must be painted black)
2. Get a buddy to take Type9 and fill it with illegal booze
3. When arriving at station attack the cops flying around and burn like hell when they chase you
4. Type9 goes into station with no cops that can scan them in sight

NOTE: It's IMPORTANT that you play "Eastbound and Down" while doing this.

when you're bored in Elite Dangerous ... turn the computer off, go outside and reacquaint yourself with the real world ... and fresh air ... and daylight ... and weird creatures that walk on two legs and wear clothes (called "People")

Turn off PC and go to have a walk, listen music, watch TV, care about own family, enjoy cooking, read a book, do some sport, STUDY, go to work, meet friends, sleep, read and write in E: D forum...

I find mixing up what I'm doing is the best way. I do a bit of exploring, then run some missions or do a bit of trading and then there's war zones and bounty hunting as well. I rarely find myself bored, always something to do and if not as has been pointed out go and do something else instead.
