Things to do?

So far, I am enjoying Elite: Dangerous quite a bit, mostly stealing cargo, and selling it. flying around and looking at new areas from time to time.
But I was wondering, does anyone have like a, "Things to do" List? Surely Making Credits simply to make credits isnt all there is right?
Not trolling, simply curious how to enjoy this game even further.

I'm heading back to port to swap the viper for my type 6

Why?

Because I've spent a fortune on the Tionisla civil war and helping prevent the Alliance scum get their hands on this system.

oh and a bit of pirating in the side in my Asp

Make a quick couple of mill and back to fight the good fight

Cant help you figure out how to enjoy the game though

im playing the "influence " game....got allied with my faction/ station of choice and now seeing if i can help them expand to neighbouring systems.... im having fun with it ontop of the other bits an bobs.....trading, conflict zones, smuggling etc

Maybe visit the center of the galaxy, just to see what the fuzz is about.

How does one steal cargo in this game?

alot of stations have a list of goods classed as illegal so if said station has a black market ( youl find this under Contacts on the station board) go buy some illegal goods at another station....bring them back and sell to black market for high profit, mind out for the local fuzz scanning you....if they find illegal goods its boom time for your ship lol so making a fast entry is essential

Thats one thing I am finding, while i do see some of whats going on via galnet news, how exactly have you Gotten yourself to a point where you are actively tracking whats going on in this Tionsla civil war? Even the things i Do read about wars and such, it doesnt really seem like anything is happening.
