Three weeks? Full release? What now?

Good plan though. Issues like this are frustrating. Best to give up and try again when they've had chance to get everything fixed.

I will just save you some typing:

it's still alpha, wait for beta
it's still beta, wait for gamma
it's still gamma, wait for release
it's still release, wait for update, wait for expansion, buy dlc, this is a game that's never really finished

Yeah Since gamma I can't get online, it says my connections is too crap basically yet i know it isn't because I get an average of 40mbps DL speed and 3 upload.... Gamma is lame, I want the Beta back so that i can play...

Kinda reminds me of the scene in Ghostbusters:
Dr Ray Stantz: [gets out] Everybody can relax, I found the car. Needs some suspension work and shocks. Brakes, brake pads, lining, steering box, transmission, rear-end.

Dr. Peter Venkman: How much?

Dr Ray Stantz: Only $4800.

[Venkman looks shocked]

Dr Ray Stantz: Also new rings, mufflers, a little wiring.

This looks like it may be a very good game. I'm not happy with the bugs but if a bunch of us don't stick it out and help locate/solve them it will hurt after launch. Too many games push out early and lose people to simple problems. I spent extra money to help make a better game, even if it does have me yelling at the computer once in a while. Why not take a few days off and try again?

Everybody can relax, I found the game. Needs some deeper exploration mechanics. Mining equipment, actual trading, smuggling, multi-part missions and socialization functions.
How long?
Only 8 more months.
Also new Galaxy map, route planner and a little impact of your actions on the game world.

They wrote "of" but meant "off", so "three weeks away from full release" not "three weeks into the full release."

Can't remember off-hand but I must check what that is in OE, 'cause "too" used to be "to" (as per my sig.), be funny if that's another one that's changed so that the current wrong spelling used to be right. :)

Buggy - yes
Unstable - no

I've been playing ofr hours at a time and never seen a crash or some major issue.

I'm waiting for a bug-stable release to start submitting bugs. Old bugs are still around (in 1.0), like re-docking or police attacking for no reason, which are some tickets that I've submitted a while back but ended up closed due to major upgrades.

Ummm, only AFTER you've created a ticket about the problem... otherwise the problem might remain unfixed. (If a bug exists in Gamma 1.01, the chances are fairly high that not many people are seeing the issue, and so no-one tickets the problem, so Frontier don't know about it & it doesn't get fixed.)
