I think you'll see a ton of human players around the core systems ...and most likely Sol will be crowded until Elite 5 comes out in 2050

Wait until we can also land on planets, Sol of course will be visited, but I wonder what places like Mars and Titan will be like.

I know you were lightly joking, but there won't be an Elite V, this is the final definitive version which will keep on evolving perhaps beyond David Braben's retirement .

If you look at 'No Man's Sky', that is another procedurally generated space game but, unlike Elite, they intentionally keep everyone separated with the vastness of the universe.
