Ships Thinking of building a missile boat. Suggestions?

As the title says, I'm thinking of building a missile boat just for the fun of it. I have access to all engineers and guardian stuff, so.........

What ship would you suggest and what outfitting. There's a blank canvas atm, so fire away. Thinking of a FGS as a base.

Try this one I built for a wingmate totally impractical but it fills the sky with missiles, the FGS would be fine too but the issue is removing the targets shields the overload munitions experimental helps but for large engineered NPC's (pirate threat) you need another ship to strip the shields before unleashing hell ;)

 
I've made missile boats out of both the FGS and Type-10, and they can be a lot of fun. Something to think about for small hardpoints, you can get the advanced missile rack that pre-engineering has 64 ammo and is fixed only. I'm assuming it was an error that was never fixed, not sure, but that's a lot of spammable fire power out of a small.

With the FGS I put a thermal vent beam in the large, 4 seekers or pack-hounds in the mediums, then either pulse/mc or 2 mc for corrosive and emissive in the smalls, or just go with dumbfire in the smalls. Thermal vent and heat sinks are both nice to have if you are going ham with pack hounds.

My Type-10 is a hauler, so I only really fight off ships after me on missions, so I went with 2 large reverb torps (8 shots), 2 high cap large seekers, 2 beams and 1 pack hound in the mediums, and again corrosive mc and emissive pulse in the smalls. The beams are nice to have for shields in case I screw up the torpedo shots, otherwise it would be time to run, and they are thermal vent as well. I can usually have it cooled down enough by the time I get a target lock to where I don't need to pop a heat sink.
 
I actually preferred the FDS for my missile boat. Four medium hard points and one large - that's a lot of missiles! The ship also looks the part, is cheaper than the FGS, and can hull tank for ages if need be (PvE).
 
I've never tried missiles yet, but if that's a good use for class 1 hardpoints, my first thought would be the Asp Explorer, which has 4 of them.

Then again, I think the Diamondback has that certain Helicopter Gunship look, so that might be aesthetically interesting. One multicannon and a couple of missile racks.
The Chieftain also has 3 Small HPs if you want something tankier.
 
Beluga with 5 pack hounds. Just quickly threw this together to give you a rough idea, it's not entirely complete. I have one and it's great fun, ammo runs out quick though even with high capacity engineering. I usually use it for assassinations.
