Thinking of making an Elite video...

But I have questions!

I have an nVidia GTX 770 2gb. Which I believe can record ED just fine.

But, 1) Music Vs YouTube. What can I do to include someone else's music in the video without it being banned or whatever?

2) what's a good free video editor? I can't remember the name of the one I used to use. But it was open source.
Lol needs to be Windows 10 compatible.

3) filming tips! Got any?

I'm using Lightworks (https://www.lwks.com/) to edit and post videos to YouTube. They have a free edition (which is what I use) and then I just download royalty-free audio tracks from sites like bensound (https://www.bensound.com/)

Lightworks isn't the most straightforward to learn, but once you get the hang of what is required to crossfade it is pretty quick and easy to use.

Blackmagic's Davinci Resolve is free and, assuming your gameplay recording doesn't just make it crash, very powerful.

When it comes to Youtube not demonetising or straight out copyright striking your material, that's just luck at this point. They don't care.
