Third party Plug-ins and tools with VR...?

Hey gang,

I've been trying to add some third party plug-ins and apps to enhance my E: D VR experience, but I'm finding that many of the tools from archives such as this one don't really seem to work well in VR.

I'm already using things like EDProfiler, Captain's Log, Reshade, Voiceattack, and EDDB on a separate tablet but I was wondering if there were any in-game trade or exploration plug-ins that work well in VR.

I've searched through this forum and haven't really found a discussion about this, so I figured I'd start one.

Thoughts?

I don't think there's much in the way of VR-friendly plug ins yet. FD doesn't actively support plug-ins per se, so utility coders are having to rely on 'injection'.
Some have had luck with second-window injectors for a video window etc;

There are others too.

I'm experimenting in Steam just arranging the desktop so its usable in VR without taking the headset off - the desktop quality in SteamVR is pretty good.
Not noticing any drop in performance (only when it pops a friend notification or whatever).

ASW works fine through SteamVR. Steam doesn't interfere with ATW or ASW. its just inserting a layer before the normal Oculus compositor.

There's a tiny bit of overhead, but as far as I can tell, its only when there's an actual notification etc.
As you can turn all those off, there's just the few cpu cycles it takes to have SteamVR running in the background.

I could be wrong, but it looks like less than a 1% drop in actual ED performance.
