Third person view Odyssey

I am wondering if the new Odyssey expansion will have a third person camera angle for when you are on foot. I tend to get motion sickness when playing first person shooters. Not sure why i don't get motion sickness with flight games in first person.

I remember David Braben saying ( long Time ago) spacelegs would only be first person.
Maybe we'll still have the non playable free camera system we already have to Make screenshots

The whole game is only first person. I doubt that would change. (Not counting camera modes)

I doubt it will be playable in third person, but maybe we'll have a camera suite/orbit camera.

Not going for both would be a mistake, imo. I much prefer third person cam in shooters/rpgs and so do a large percentage of players. The visuals are so much more appealing, and there's a much better feeling how your character is behaving in the world, so to speak. And it gives a better sense of your surroundings. First person just feels very claustrophobic compared.

Plus, if I am going to buy cosmetics for my character, I want to see it in action!

So if for nothing else FDev, add third person to sell more cosmetics

If they're truly going after the lucrative console battlefield call of duty fortnite pubg market, I suppose they will throw 3rd person in there. Fortnite and pubg alone made over 1.5 billion last year. Would make business sense to try to capture that market at the expense of all the old farts around here.
