I'm curious to understand if the price drops are widespread, from an international perspective, which is a completely different concern to the (valid but not relevant) issues bought up in the thread. What has happened to the prices in your locale?

Not here.
Commercial, grain fed ribeye goes for $10.99/lb and up, maybe $8.99 in bulk at Costco or something.
Grass fed, free range etc is around twice that.
It hasn't changed in a long time.
Regular milk is around $10/gal.
