A ship builder, outfitting and comparison tool for Elite Dangerous

From the sidewinder to what I know the current op ship.
This is about the Values.

Read this.Your Fer-de-Lance version cries to you for a little further adaptation!
Covering a Fer-de-Lance with non-Fixed weapons may not work quite as well as you imagine, because its hardpoints deploy in all four directions, reducing their overlap region. If you can keep all of those locked-on, already you will be aiming almost as if they were Fixed weapons, so I suggest committing to that and using the Fixed model of Beam Laser. Try both, perhaps.
Speaking of the Beam Lasers:
Your Shield and your Utility hardpoint setup is good (and nearly identical to my Mamba setup!). My only comment is that you have a quite sizeable chunk of spare power (Laser changes permitting), so you might consider changing one of your Heavy Duty boosters for a third Resistance Augmented, and replacing some of your Hull Reinforcement with Guardian Shield Reinforcement. This will make your Shield resistances even more superior, and will switch some of your direct durability over to Shield where it benefits from that superiority. To be clear, by no means do I fault good Hull investment; rather, I suggest capitalising on all that extra Shield resistance afforded by six Utility hardpoints.
- You do not need Thermal Vent for all of them; one is probably enough, and two are almost certainly enough. There may not be much else of interest available for them, though ultimately if four Thermal Vent feels overdone then at minimum I suggest considering the humble Oversized or even Flow Control. Alternatively, you might consider using that array of hardpoints to bring in experimental effects from Burst or Pulse Lasers.
- The Efficient modification is quite weak, and it will also worsen your Thermal Vent effects, a direct anti-synergy. If you intend a close engagement range then use Short Range for a positive synergy, otherwise consider Long Range to remove the fall-off, or potentially Overcharged if the Distributor draw is no problem.
Finally, speaking of available power, the A-rated Kill Warrant Scanner consumes far more than can be justified by its increase in range. Personally I use a B-rated scanner with the Fast Scan at grade 4, and I am willing to drop it to C-rated if I need more power.
It is best to read the whole thread in the link.
