This Cheating Malarky is getting out of hand

I am not calling anyone out, but on Sunday i was in Leesti in my PvP vette, and having just got back into the game after a voluntary sabbatical, i knew knack all about these cheats.

So i got pulled by 2 FDL's claiming to be the Alliance Police (I am at the moment aligned with Lei, for some more of his lovely packhounds?????). I fought them off and they ended high waking. No hassle, so i jump back into SC to look for some more HGE's, and they pop back into the system. Then i get slated that i am using a cheat, how can my Vette withstand 8 rails and 2 PA's, They are going to report me and that i should buy another game to play whilst i serve my ban.

So i look up this cheating thing, read a lot on here and Reddit and find it is quite common, quite easy to find....But hey I was not cheating i was just better than them.

So Crux of this post is...........If you out fight superior numbers with a better ship and better skills, then you are bang on for being called a cheat now?

Hmmmmm, with Sundays experience and the replies on here, i now remember why i had my Sabbatical ;) ;)

Nothing has changed then :sleep::sleep:

What were you expecting?

In game : yes, there are still gankers - not sure why you would think that has changed

In forums : people find gankers being dumb to be funny - not sure why you would think that would change - or what you think it should change to?

yeah, that's the difference between a 'pvp game' and a 'game with pvp'. the biome is still spot on, welcome back and enjoy.

Just tell them to "Git gud". :)

There's nothing to worry about, FDEV have the means to pull the telemetry from your client to see whether your cheating or not. They don't just ban people because somebody said so.
