But I loved the game as a kid and I'm loving it more as a big kid. More money and more big boys toys.

Yeah BIG BIG mistake buying it. Glass mouse mat too. Never make that mistake. I wonder why my keyboard looks filthy when it's actually clean. I also need to sort out my cables.

Can't say I have spent a fortune specifically on Elite, but I have to admit many of my recent purchases have been influenced at varying degrees by my desire to enhance my experience with the game. Including : a complete new rig powerful enough for Oculus Rift (i7 4790K, 16Gb RAM, 2x SLI GTX970), a Rift DK2 (just purchased, not received yet), a DX Racer gaming chair, a 27' 1080p monitor... The one thing I'm planning to buy specifically for ED (since I don't own any other game I would see working well with it) is a Buttkicker Gamer 2, but I have yet to find one available in France.

Thankfully, ED also gave a new youth to previously bought stuff that were taking the dust due to lack of recent compatible games : TrackIR4, Thrustmaster HOTAS X, Saitek Rudder Pedals...

Elite Dangerous All Expansions Digital Item Only = £80

Nothing else...yet. But going on the feel of my Joystick/Keyboard&Mouse in game currently i may need a new/better Joystick (so another £50?) or even a HOTAS thing (so another what, £150?).

Not played enough to know if i Love it, but i have always loved Elite games, so i can't see why this would be the exception.

I highly recommend the Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS (£40) - everything can be bound.

Nooooo. The bigger the spaghetti jumble of cables the better! At least that's what i keep telling myself!!

I think I got the pen free from work and the mug too. Zak I just got my HOTAS from OC they had them on sale. So a canny bargain. The tablet I got for £100, normally £279, reduced to £150, I used £50 of vouchers from work so I got it for £100.

$800+. That is more than any other game ever in my life. Of course, I am having more fun with this than any other game in my life too.

The occulus rift was well worth it. Feel like I'm going into space each time I put it on.
