This game is AMAZING !!!

The controls are just Perfect! :)

You know, I think this point isn't mentioned enough - I don't think I've played any game where the controls were this spot on (with the possible exception of decelerating in frame shift until I figure it out), be it airplane games or another-space-game-that-shall-remain-nameless or other games, FD have nailed it. Me and my X52 Pro are enjoying life together!

I too have a Razer Naga courtesy of my son, but I cannot use the buttons they are too small for my arthritic fingers.

Welcome on board friend. Welcome to the biggest game in the universe. Hopefully our paths will cross in a peaceful manner and we can share a fine pot of tea together.

Sorry if I am being too enthusiastic, but I just want to say how much fun I am having with this game. :D

The controls are just Perfect! :)

I played a lot of flight/space sims with my Joystick, but now I can also play with my mouse and I can dogfight as good as with my joystick.

Why? In E: D you can change the controls to suit your taste and that is amazing.

I have a Razer Naga Mouse (17 buttons) and I set 2 of the buttons to do Pitch Up and Pitch Down so I do not need to be repositioning my mouse all the time to dogfight, I can just press PitchUp/Down until I get on the tail of the enemy and than micro adjust the aim for a perfect shot !!!

Also in the same mouse, I can set up more keys with the commands to redirect power to Sys/Eng/Weap/Balance ... GearDown/Up ... targeting ... etc

Anyway ... I am so excited to continue playing this game the way it is now, and I know that it will only gets better.

I said that the controls are perfect, but also, sounds, hyperspace, galaxy maps, graphics are amazing!

Thank you so much Frontier, YOU are ELITE !

Right now, the game is interesting, but it needs more in my opinion.

I hope to see what else it has to offer. If this becomes mostly a trading game with ships, I can play better games than this in my opinion. I will keep saying as I have from the beginning, this game requires a real sense of danger and loss with a single multiplayer universe, and if there is going to be a single player/multiplayer switch it will kill the immersion. Every positive person here can look down on my post and think otherwise, but we will see. Perhaps I am wrong, and I sort of hope I am. I want to be surprised, but so far I am not. Believe me, I want ED to succeed. I put down some serious cash into the game.

I agree and I don't even have a good mouse. Scale of the game is just so epic. Not only is there 400 billion systems but everything is spaced apart and because of this space feels very very big. :D

Sure the game will have more, but what I am impressed is the progression until now.

Each Update released has a huge change in the game.

We already have an amazing Flight Module (controls), Impressive sounds and Graphics, Trading, Docking in Starports, bounty system, multiplayer combats ...

I don't want to compare, so I am not saying the name of the game I am comparing to ... but in Elite: Dangerous, we are near to see the Persistent Universe that seems really hard to achieve in other AAA Space SIMs.

Frontier already managed to solve the networking background that is necessary to create a game like this.

Imagine what this game can become with:

* Advanced player interactions (groups, clans)
* Planetary interactions (Flying / Docking)
* Exploring the Universe
* Your own base in the space
...

Like you, I really want this game to succeed, and if Frontier continues on the same route, we will be there together to see all of this becoming true.
