It's stupid how long the players complained about the crap credit pay out for missions and mining, now mining is the only thing worth doing, trading is a joke 5k credits per ton lmfao, the devs are incompetent this game is just crap, I mean you could always add some of these mining only commodities to the station supply so trading would be worth doing. I'm amazed the devs want me to wait almost 2 years for new content and they think I'm going to pay for it, when I look at the game we have now and how easy it would be to make small changes to make it better and the fact that the devs are not making theses changes. I don't even know why I'm posting this nothing ever changes just wasting even more of my time.
The thing is, on 1 hand i do agree... the game has its issues....
but on the other hand my issues are, not only different to yours but are completely at odds with yours. To me, 5k profit per ton for a trade item is perfectly fine.. the joke is being able to make 50 mil an hr+ doing mining or passenger runs etc.
so between me and you FD have an impossible task of getting it right. I thought the broad strokes game balance at launch............... needed work once you got beyond the asp level of ships, it is the crazy credit inflation which some seem to enjoy which has for me made me struggle to bother logging in any more. You will never agree with me on this, and I will never agree with you that trade should be buffed to match mining / passenger run levels of income.. Who is right however?.
IF I was balancing the game I would probably try to make it that no 1 single "milk run" career would pay more than maybe 20 mil per hr and even then this would have to be done using an apex ship.
OTOH I would cut some of the costs of some of the high end gear (class 7A fuel scoops etc) and would trim down engineering.
IF you want to earn more than that then it would probably have to be very short lived (so no time to stick on forum) gold rush and these would be loaded with proper risk to your ship.
