This game is super duper hard on jurassic

I think I wanna destroy this game, I understand in making things hard but what. Why does Jurassic challenge mode have to be off the charts. Not too many games can get under my skin, but this game is testing my nerves, contemplating destroying the disc or giving it back to frontier!!

@D279mi Don't do something you will regret. Jurassic difficulty challenge is tough normally, so suck it up.

In the Northwest USA challenge; I was unhappy having to put Compsognathus with Albertosaurus and Carnotaurus, Coelophysis with Cryolophosaurus, Metriacanthosaurus with Allosaurus, Moros Intrepidus with Tyrannosaurus Rex. It is space consuming to put Acrocanthosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus separately. Due to that, the cohabitation element of certain carnivores needs amendments.

The challenge mode based on the film Jurassic World and the Southwest USA challenge is functional, but it is best to wait for the addition of new species.

Even if I am playing this game in PC, the Germany challenge mode in Jurassic difficulty is not working currently.

What's this got to do with anything?
The point of cohabitation is that it adds to the difficulty of the game.

If you want flexible cohabitation or accuracy, then "suck it up" and just play Sandbox.

No one's forcing you to play Jurassic difficulty. Nor is Jurassic completion needed to unlock anything. "Hard" gets it done too.

Hard difficulty unlock the cosmetics, whereas an achievement comes from Jurassic difficulty.

Regarding the United Kingdom, Northwest USA, and Canada challenges; I did the Jurassic difficulty in order to "kill two birds with one stone". By doing so, I unlocked the cosmetics and gotten the achievements simultaneously.

I am waiting for new species before attempting the Southwest USA challenge in Jurassic difficulty and the "kill two birds with one stone" will be carried out.

Cohabitation does not contribute to the difficulty of the game.

Every challenge has its own conditions and I put up with it.

Players and developers are abusing Dr. Henry Wu's words, "Nothing in Jurassic World is natural".

As there will be more people playing Sandbox, there will be fewer people playing the Custom Challenge.

1). Kinda does tho, the "lack" of building space is there to be challenge and be smart with the species you bring into the game. Having 4 species of herbivores is more logical than having a rex and a scavenger. You have to compromise when you're playing on Jurassic.

2). Idk what you mean by this.

3). Not exactly, if Cohabitation is a problem you can always play Customs and Disable Negative Cohabitation.

1) Just so you know, there is also the design and planning. The Northwest USA challenge is to build an all-carnivores park whereas the Germany one is to build an all-herbivores park. Jurassic difficulty means higher number of dinosaur species required except for the Germany challenge. What I have in mind for the Germany challenge is five species from the Morrison Formation and five species from the Hell Creek Formation; it is elementary-school math. Despite Archelon and Shonisaurus is available to use in the Germany challenge, there is no room for them in Jurassic difficulty.

2) The faulty cohabitation element stems from Dr. Henry Wu's words that enable the players make their exhibits "free-for-all" style and the authenticity of the exhibits would be like 10% - 40%. The carnivore exhibits are not meant to be authentic and are favored by thrill seekers.

3) The dinosaur cohabitation in Custom Challenge is like the official ones, Campaign, and Chaos Theory.

1/3). But you choosing these dig sites is YOUR problem, not the game's... Regardless of the use of basic maths xD
I've also just made a thread about Challenge mode and how lacklustre it is since Custom Challenge is basically Sandbox without the option to change the setting mid-game.

Besides you can choose Carnivore only option when playing in Germany in Custom mode. Only problem is that we can't choose is exempt guest type, etc. Hopefully in future we'll get a complete overhaul on gameplay features that have/haven't been added to Challenge Mode as a whole.

It is the game's problem still. It is not just the dig sites, the dinosaur species' popularity has to be considered as well. Almost every well-known species are discovered in Morrison Formation and Hell Creek Formation. With Dryosaurus and Dracorex being a one-star and two-star attraction respectively, the others' popularity rating range from three to five stars. The popularity rating of the Shonisaurus and Archelon are two and three stars respectively.

Of the Custom Challenge mode, I only did the Isla Sorna one to re-enact Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis' exercise "The Lost World" that is to turn a Site B into a park. Afterwards, I did not play any of the Custom Challenges.

Another difference between Custom Challenge and Sandbox is the genetic modifications. In Sandbox, you can optimize a dinosaur species.

"Carnivores Only" option in Custom Challenge only narrow down to just dinosaurs. As a matter of fact, carnivores not only limited to dinosaurs, but also include plesiosaurs, pliosaurs, and mosasaurs. Despite being labeled piscivores, all the spinosaurs are still confirmed carnivores. One thing that has not been confirmed is whether pterosaurs (except Jelopterus) attack humans for food or for territory.

I finished the DFW Jurassic difficulty challenges along with the ones based on all the Jurassic Park films and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom without expecting anything.
