Now that I got your attention it is not what you think.
The title is representative illustrating the massive deficiencies in crime and punishment. The ship Asp represents all those defenseless ships or non PVP ships that are either out there exploring, trading, or otherwise doing legal activity. The holes are all the loopholes that exist for criminals to circumvent crime and punishment to pursue their murderous ways.
Elite: Dangerous should be a lawful galaxy, with the exception of anarchy systems.
There needs to be better mechanisms in place to punish criminals. Criminals include cmdr's who prey on other cmdr's for no other purpose than their own perverse entertainment, and for cmdr's doing illegal work for crime factions.
What should be done? You tell me. There have been many discussions about crime and punishment, but the implementation we got was sorely lacking.
So here we go again. I am reopening the discussion on crime and punishment.
How do we create a lawful galaxy?
