I read that the next Chinese rocket that must go to the moon will be also big that Saturn 5
Id say not very large, the biggest ship is like 60m long, i dont know how large these ships are, but that doesn't seem like much. The stations seems pretty huge though
I think it had too, it just got to carry that much fuel to accelerate the craft enough to escape Earth's orbit.
The new Orion spacecraft's rockets that are under development I believe is even bigger (obviously because it needs to power to get to Mars).
Saturn rocket is huge. I remember seeing the Saturn V that they have on display at NASA's Kennedy Space Center back when I was a kid and it was big even from a distance, and it was lying sideways.
The Cobra should be right about the size of a baseball field. I measured the dimensions using a map before if it were landed on a school's parking lot... pretty neat when you put dimensions in perspective.
There's a comparison image on that page. The first version ("block I") is smaller than a Saturn 5. Looks like the block II version will be about the same size.I wonder where the SLS (once it reaches full size) would sit on that?
