The trick to the “Q” wheel on bindings is that it shows up under “(Foot) Mode Switches” and has the non-intuitive name “open access panel.”

(The name suggests a command to open a panel in a settlement...)

On the same subject, does this work after you have left the jail and taken a taxi to where your last know place of where your ship is, you land and have no way of recalling your ship from orbit?

If you have no option to recall from orbit, you need to call in an Apex and fly to a big station where there is an Inter Astra store. You can transfer your primary ship there, and it will arrive in a few minutes (unless you take a really long ride in Apex).

Omg thanks for this post, I just started using Apex more b/c apparently you need to log some miles to unlock an engineer and after getting dropped off at a settlement I realized I had no idea how to get back lol.
