I'm taking this with a very large pinch of salt lol as it looks like a user contributed article but if true at least I know what I'm getting for my birthday
I think the store updates today (late afternoon) so we should hear today if the article is correct
With FDEV being a listed company, they have to announce things that can influence the stock price to the market first. So that is FDEV announcing it to the market first.

It's an investor communication on the London Stock Exchange - it doesn't get much more official than that, as Frontier have a duty to inform investors first of announcements that may affect the share price.

Well it may be another month of waiting but at least we would have an official date to start counting down to. Hopefully we get something on social media or the forums to back it up shortly.

How do you deduce that?
.... PS4 will launch with 2.3. That does not mean that PC would be unable to be running a Beta at that time (although I have no idea when we may be offered 2.4 Beta).
