The real problem, is that this hasn't been addressed once by FD. I'm surprised, and appalled the community has tolerated this for so long. It's intimidating to new players, traumatic to some, and potentially able to render the forums, decrease the playerbase on steam charts by 99%, and destroy what little rep I have...

The Wedding Barge Hive-mind.

We all know this alien species is meant to replace the thargoids.

It.. it just hurts so much to see the lore bent like this, to replace the age old Thargoids with a race of creatures who rarely see their families together and suffer from frequent amnesia.

Can anyone do something!? Also, do Thargoids get decals!?!?

I don't know, I've found the frequent amnesia is great for picking up bridesmaids.

One day I'm a heroic boyfriend returning from "the war", the next I'm her millionaire husband...

I get to be someone new every day! :D

man if you look at the steam charts player numbers have been reduced since wedding barges were introduced... it's true, the new alien retcon is too much for us ;'( Now they'll go to games without wedding barges, like Lego Loco!

No no no .. when you kill them they turn into funeral barges.

Just take one for the team, interdict them and stay there, never log out, never jump out. Slowly but surely we'll put an end to them.

Interdict them, kill their drives and see the drama of marriage be accelerated
by the loss of thrust.
They also cannot go anywhere anymore,
next thing we know to happen is a wedding-graveyard,
which will form a new neutron-star.

I once met a wanted wedding barge.
Chased it through 3 systems until I got it, it always jumped away, and a Viper just has not enough power to kill it quick.

Should have taken a screenshot from the status message that said Bounty for Criminal wedding Barge :D

I agree!
If I ever get my hands on that moron that keeps forgetting his wedding vows....

I'm seriously considering starting my own clan called "The Wedding Crashers" (super original, right?) where our sole purpose is to seek out and destroy every wedding barge in existence!
