Ship transfer apparently confirmed for a future update!
(as well as some other interesting features...some of them hinting at a revamp of Power Play maybe??)

This will be a game changer for me! I spend more time moving my ships around than actually doing fun stuff in this game...

All that has been confirmed several times already within various discussions the devs took part in. Nothing new.

That stuff specifically comes from the upcoming commanders log:

edit: it's notable that none of this has been confirmed to be part of a specific release though (as the reddit title implies) - being part of the commanders log only means these things are work in progress (which we already knew), not that they are coming around next.

there are times when i think they are getting all thier ideas from the X series...but it was done a long time ago.

It's about 2 years I check the forum almost daily and i have never ever noticed that part of the forum!
I assume i'm not the only one who missed it.

Much nicer to read that kind of post than the usual "Where can I find chemical manipulators" or "Engineer is a grind, I'm quitting" or "I lost 500k credits because the AI is too hard" ;-)

Well, taking into account the current state of the game, I'd rather see the basics finally implemented first, then they can come up with whatever originality they want...
