Bounty hunting at a nav beacon in the Heheng system. I've accumulated around 100k worth of credits from kills, then it appears, an Anaconda worth 50k. I use 4 multicanons and was down to about 300 ammo with each gun. I decide to begin the fight, because I want that 50k :D (greedy yes I know:p) Halfway through the fight I accidentally strike the damn federal officer who was helping me (That's what happens when the fools keep entering my line of sight from out of nowhere..) So now I am wanted in the system. The anaconda has 15% hull strength left and I run out of bullets:( The shields are almost back up on the giant ship as well. So... I decide to throttle it and smash into it with thrusters going as fast as I can because hell yeah I can! Honestly had no idea what was going to happen, I'm in a Cobra. I smash into it and thought I died but no! I had 12% hull remaining and alas the anaconda blew up next to me \o/ Now the coolest thing... The freaking windshield broke from the smash lol. (whoever's idea that was at frontier I salute you!) Now the cops turn towards me! I have 7 mins to get out of there and land somewhere fast. I fly towards onufriyenko station, but I can barely see the guidelines because my windshield is gone. When I'm around 15ls away I get freaking interdicted by npx cop, I sh** you not. Worst luck, but I managed to keep with the escape vector, even though could only see it sometimes haha. I flew towards the station map after that and had around 4 mins left to get in un-scanned (cause I'm wanted now remember for shooting that itdiot in my way.. lol, he should pay me back my wasted bullets useless npc!)
I get scanned very close to the entrance but I burst inside lol, and make it safely to my landing pad to begin writing this little story of what can happen in this sandbox, epic game!!!!

Huzzah for my 150k credits awarded and huzzah for my cobra doesn't need ammo to take down a 15% anaconda hahaha <3 Never trading this ship!

Do you realize that if you blew up your Cobra ramming that Anaconda, you would have lost the 100k bounties you didn't collect yet? I guess not lol.

Yes!

My fondest memory so far is having my windshield shot out while taking down a python in my starter sidey. Managed to dock with about 30sec of air left in my cabin. That was so much fun.

Of course, the first thing I did after was upgrade my life support :)

I do know I would have lost it haha. I wanted to see if I can damage it crashing into it with max shields, and well, it turned out but just by a hair. lol but yes, I was reckless and greedy:p But that was what made it so much more fun than if I played it safe^^

The cobra's pretty tough given its size class, and given how cheap it is to repair or replace you can be a little reckless. I won't hesitate to ram weak targets or turn into and shove other ships out of position when flying one.

On the flipside.. If you rammed the 'Conda and died, you'd spawn with your 50K bounty intact :)

Happened to me with an Asp... He rammed me, more than me ramming him though... Almost sounds rude.

I was able to do that yesterday. On two separate instances I was bounty hunting and there were so many police that I wasn't guaranteed the last shot to the the bounty, so I rammed. Got the bounties both times. :)

Crazzy. My fully A kitted Cobra get's instant blown up if I only touch softly anthing larger than a Cobra.
Out of my 7 or 8 deads so far 5 or 6 were due to a bigger ship touched me or I touched a bigger ship in combat. And I really mean touch not ramming with speed.
Mostly it's happening in an up down or left right drifting.
I read a thread lately from someone doing rammign test and that one said that the Cobra was the weakest and got alway blown up where the other ship survived his tests with hull damage.

That is crazy. I think anaconda is the biggest ship if I'm not mistaken, I hit with thrusters. Didn't know most cobra's explode:D makes me feel all the more lucky haha
