This might be very messed up, but I'm legitimately curious...

When we get multi crew and walking around ships and stuff... will we be able to actually own slaves/Imperial slaves?! Like, I like the idea of being able to hire NPC Wingmates or robot guardians... but I feel like it should sort of be an option to actually have a slave assistant or something seeing as some unscrupulous pilots ferry literally tons of slaves back and forth.

Thoughts?

Its one thing to have slaves as a tradable product, its another thing for them to be rendered into the physical world and actually presented and used. I think they may just be in a box called "slaves" XD

I could have an imperial slave, as long as she's cute.

I'd love for them to do it, but nowadays you can't even express yourself without being subject to some form of repercussions due to it being mildly offensive to some people. I'm surprised they still allow us to trade them as it is. :/

Edit: I mean that as in across the world, not just this game or forum.

What originally made me think about this is the casual way slaves have been sort of discussed as a basic high value trade commodity. It might add a lot of immersion, depth, and conversation into the game.
Also, I know people have talked before about being able to "free" slaves as well. I actually like the idea of both sides.

True. They speak of them as if they're just another type of cargo. In general, I'd hope for further fleshing out of all mission types since slaves aren't the only underdeveloped item in the game. But gaining a slave's trust after freeing them could be a good way of gaining their favor and loyalty if something like this were implemented. It could lead to more efficient operation of your vessel. :3

I'd like it.

I'd like it.
