This is a game cartridge of Acornsoft editor for the BBC Micro. Elite Dangerous was already planned it a few decades ago
Yes it is, I'd had it stuck in a drawer somewhere for years. I have a deadly somewhere too, but Deadly is in Purple.
It will take pride of place on my Elite PC

Never seen that one before, very nice.
It even looks weathered, giving it that authentic veteran look.
And you're already set for the Elite: Deadly version, whenever that comes out. If not in your lifetime then on your deathbed you can hand it over to your son to carry on the family tradition.
