This woke me up yesterday

It made me jump watching it on an iPad. Can't imagine what it would be like in game or on a rift. You were lucky to survive that one.

On entry to this 3 black hole system my ship acted like it turned off the brakes eventhough I 0 throttle like always. I'm just glad I wasn't in the Rift :D
Anyone experienced this before? Seems to be caused by the black hole behind the star somehow.

Man that star has a crazy spin!!!!
BTW, yesterday night i was jumping here and there, and i always throttle 0. One landing on an M class turned out bad. Not only the throttle was reset to full speed after an unusual long jump, but the ship accelerated faster and entry point was too close. I was able to manuever up and shot past the star without taking heat dmg or being forced out of supercruise. But it was reflexes + luck + brown throusers.

The system had a single M star with few icy planets, nothing fancy.

So i don't know if your bad landing has to do with the very cloe BH, or is glitch/lag whatever, in my case it had to do with lag/glitch, becouse the system had nothing unusual, and even if i forgot to throttle 0 (wich i doubt) the ship accelerated superfast, going in to the 2C speed immediatly, and in fact in a matter of 3 second i completly overshoot the star by few Ls.

So basically don't take any jump easy, always stay alert with your hand on the manuevering stick.

Your situation sounds a bit like mine I'll admit, as my ship seems to go quite fast out of the jump, but I get pulled out of it faster than in a white dwarf system, so it seems like a weird glitch or something.

(I did once escape supercruise to a station by flying through the station from the rear (one of the long tube stations), that was certainly a brown trouser moment too :) Luckily it took a second before collisions happened.

Came out today and flew right past a brown dwarf - must have been about 100km off from crashing into it. All I saw was a purple flash on the left as I came in. Was like holy......crud

Holy hell.........I feel like I'm speaking to a Ghost.......

You are a lucky man indeed!

When I looked back at the main star from 35000ls out the entire center was a big warp. Strange system indeed :)

Today I jumped _just_ outside a dwarf that was lodged onto the main star. Feels like I may run out of luck soon. I'll feel much safer when I'm back in some combat zone :D

When you stood up was your chair stuck to your butt? I know I was clenching just watching the video!

After I unpuckered, I chuckled at the "Fuel scooping..." Yes, I guess you were close enough to scoop...at that distance: Empty to Full in one second.
