Thomas The Tank Engine

Hey everyone! This afternoon I created one of my childhood heros, Thomas The Tank Engine!

I tried to keep to to scale so he can be used in parks and not stick out being over-sized.

I hope you enjoy it!

Here is the workshop link: Click here to download Thomas The Tank Engine

Personally, I think that this item does prove that Thomas can be, and is everywhere.
But seriously, I didn't expect you, Chris Sawyer himself, to actually make a workshop item, especially of Thomas himself. It looks very accurate as well! Granted, I don't think Thomas does a constant awesome face, but still.

Very good Chris. Did you get permission from Drayton Manor Park lol. Seriously though, you have made a good job of it. [up]

Thanks! Haha and I would love for PC to get to work with the permissions of TTTE!

W.. what?!

HAha this let me think back when I was small.

I had a kid in school who was a big fan of Thomas and had everything themed to Thomas the Thanks Engine. And every recess he woudl run around like he was Thomas. [haha]
The good old days.[yesnod]

Can I download this via the workshop or do I need your express permission in a letter, signed, sealed and mailed to my address?

Very nice. I have seen him in person at the train museum in York (UK) and think your replica is quite accurate.

BTW, being an American, when I watched the show with my little nephew years ago, I thought the bright colors of all the trains were just a cartoony touch to make the show more child-friendly. After all, steam locomotives in the US were all black. But then I went to that museum in York and discovered the Brit steam locomotives really were gaudily painted :)
