Is there a visual method or any method to actually "find" the entry slot on these stations easily? Unless I am lucky enough to drop out of FSD right in front of the entry I have a devil of a job finding it, I just spent about 5 mins of my allotted docking time just trying to find the front door. Some visual markers might be helpful like an ILS sort of thing.

Newcomer / Intro Those dodecahedron type stations

Target it (with "t" when facing it) and look at the hologram on the left. There will be arrows pointing at the front of the station.
The station always rotate anti-clockwise on the side with the entrance.

Also, if you target the station, you will see arrows on the holographic picture of it pointing to the side with the entrance

Yup! That is exactly what I have been doing too... LOL!
Ok thank you guess I just need to be a bit more observant
There are THREE indications, actually:
1. When you target this kind of star port - you will see arrows on the side of the target hologram that point toward the front.
2. There are lights on each corner of the back square that flash red, and lights on the corner of the front square the flash blue.
3. If you face the entrance of the star port from the outside, the entrance is always rotating counter-clockwise.
