Yeah, better value and lifespan than your 1080Ti anyway ![]()
I used to watch a bit of F1 back in the day then it became a bit of a joke in its self so I stopped.
Same here loved the F1 then it became far too corporate.
When wasn't it corporate?
Races are definitely not as exciting as they've used to be, but technology is the most interesting since ever. So, to each their own I suppose...
Damn that's the worst one yet.
Interesting technology =/= exciting technology.
Sport is an entertainment business. When it stops being entertaining, it loses sense.
F1 is most advanced and safest it has ever been. Yay for them, I guess
It's exciting for people who care for technology![]()
Also, every time I hear people complaining about safety...were you expecting it to be blood sport? Is seeing drivers kill themselves part of the entertainment?

Erm, today's F1 is second only to Superbowl for worldwide viewing figures.
You might not enjoy it any more, others might well.
No, but there actually is a thing called "too much safety", imo.
Take Rallye, for example. It's "safe enough" (apart from an occasional dumb spectator killed in a place where they shouldn't be standing) yet remains exciting.
I don't know. I am probably not enough of a gearhead to find the technology ITSELF entertaining enough. As it is, F1 could easily take place on dyno machines where everyone would just compete in fuel consumption and endurance. (I am exaggerating, of course)
