Thoughts on a temperate pack?

The more I think about the concept of a temperate animal pack the more I really like the idea. I feel like there's a lot of potential to boost certain regions here while still knocking off some community favorites. What really gets me interested in this idea is the possibility of more Oceanian species in particular. I'm thinking something like this:

1. North Island Brown Kiwi
2. Tasmanian Devil
3. Common Wombat
4. Pudu
5. Mute Swan
6. Tanuki
7. Amur Leopard
8. Hellbender

Those are just my thoughts though, I'd love to hear yours! :>

I tried to include at least one species from each continent and to have a rich taxonomic diversity.
1. North Island brown kiwi
2. Tasmanian devil
3. Wolverine (a very versatile species, which will serve for Asia, Europe and NA)
4. North American tree porcupine
5. Southern Pudu (not really sure about this one, but couldn't really think of some better South American representation, could easily be changed for some Asian hoofstock)
6. Barbary macaque (the "clone" and one of the few African representatives I could think of)
7. Mandarin duck (struggled a bit with this one, as there are a lot more of Asian birds I want, but waterfowl is a priority)

I am sure the leopard would be the star animal.

I would love to get a temperate/forest pack next autumn.

1 Raccoon
2 Red fox
3 Red deer
4 Amur leopard
5 Bennet's wallaby
6 Tasmanian devil
7 Wolverine
8 Frilled lizard
💯 10/10 would buy.
Maybe a skunk instead of a wolverine though? Just because I can then keep skunks and raccoons together 😁

Wolverine and Amur Leopard for sure - those are my two must haves for a pack like this. Raccoon would be neat, maybe the Red Deer. I'm thinking the Andean Bear would work for that as well, but may be wrong. If not, the American Black Bear would work.

I agree that this would be a great pack idea for the fall. Although I don't think the possible selection of animals is as diverse as say, a grassland pack or a tropical pack, I could still see Frontier doing it.
  • Amur Leopard (flagship)
  • Red-Necked Wallaby
  • Tasmanian Devil
  • Elk
  • Golden Pheasant
  • Southern Pudu
  • American Black Bear
  • Eastern Copperhead (exhibit)
