Engineers Thoughts on Mods for CytoScrambler

I miss mine with efficient phasing.

Grade 5 efficient reduces heat generation, power draw, capacitor draw and, gives a modest boost to the cyto's already excellent damage.

The phasing takes 10% of that boosted damage and applies it directly against your targets hull. As long as the targets shields are up, that is.

Once they go down if you have a weapon with the corrosive special effect then, as long as the corrosive debug is in effect, you'll have the functional equivalent of a class 1 burst laser.

I bet the multi is corrosive ... it pairs nicely with cytos (currently running 1x corrosive enforcers 2x cytos on my eagle, eats python for breakfast and condas for lunch)
That's exactly what I'm looking for. The Eagle is my favorite ship, as it's the only one that looks like a proper fighter jet. Plus, a cheaper rebuy when I feel like swimming with the sharks in Open. Having armaments that can take on big game is the reason I even started looking at the Powerplay modules

The only reason I get a big ship any other ship out for bountyhunting is either testing a new build or protecting a really new pilots with healing + repairs + fuel. Ok, and solo wing assassinations.

The idea is to strip the shields, slow 'em down with the drag munitions, then chip away with missiles and lasers. I know they do next to no hull damage, but at least they'll do SOMETHING. Would inertial work better for an experimental?

I use for fun a DBS with 2 Cytos engineered with G4 Short Range with Phasing and a pair of medium Dumbfires with Penetrator experimental.
At 600m i can put all the shots in an Anaconda. Not so much in a FDL or Fed brick, but it is still doable - talking about NPC.
In PVP not sure if maintaing 600m range versus mediums is possible, but it should be ok-ish versus whales

small ships are a bit tricky to hit at times, sometimes most/all shots miss due to the jitter even at sub 500m, so I prefer to engage FDLs instead of vipers. Type 10 can be a bit tanky, with their huge hull hardness and often outfitted with laser turrets so they hit more. Especially when they also have an SLF, it can take some time.

I'm hoping the drag hounds on my imp eagle slow'em down enough to keep the cyto's on them. I engineered a bunch with different experimental effects to try a few different set-ups. Down 2 Earth Astronomy did a vid showing some
