Thoughts on moving around ship in later expansions...

If you are able to do this while in open flight, will there be gravity?

It would be cool if you could float around your ship when not docked, and walk once docked in a rotating station. Also, no gravity on outposts?

Yup, FD already decided this. No magic gravity on ships or outposts :D

Is there any scenario where you'd have gravity on your ship when not landed on a planet?
Low level orbit above a planet? Would this be possible in the game (and would it give you gravity?) ... and yes, I know we don't know anything about the expansions yet, and probably won't do until much closer to their release.

Orbit by definition means you are in constant free all, so no apparent gravity.

Oh. Sucks.
No, magnetic boots, not suction boots. :)

You can turn them off and float, is the concept - the devs were excited about this. It remains to be seen how, and how well, that'll actually work, of course: the course of development and testing can sometimes reveal game mechanics that don't work out so well in practice. But it's a cool idea, and it should be possible.
