My thoughts are as follows. Kinetic weapons should be the strongest, followed by the Plasma weapons and Laser being the least effective. I figure they will be using some kind of Bio-mechanical armor. And I also think they'll be using something like the Plasma weapon and / or a type of Shard Cannon. Now as far as ground support only Fdev knows, but they will have air support available. Finally, I hope the battles are fought in and around settlements run something like the CZs in space do, not like current ground combat. I figure that since they either defeated or ran off the Guardians and they've been studying Humans for a while now the fights are going to be very rough.
I referenced the movie "Battle for Los Angeles", for the Thargoid body armor and weapons. I figure the ground action should run for about 2 to 3 weeks before any mention of handheld Anti-Xeno weapon development. Actually, hoping we can get some advanced Anti-Xeno weapons, before this happens.
