Now that we've seen every animal, I can formulate a list of animals I'm most excited for. Here is the top 5:
1. Terrapin
2. Otter
3. Seal
4. Caiman
5. Penguin
The reasoning for the terrapin being number one is the fact that it is a totally different exhibit animal. From the screenshot they shared with us last week, these guys should actually swim around and move around in their exhibit. And in addition, the model looks absolutely amazing, as all the exhibit animals from the DLCs do. This is our first turtle and first aquatic tank animal so its exciting to me.
The Grey Seal would have been number one but just one concern remains for me. I hope that they spend enough time in the water and less time walking around on land. I hope it's not a koala scenario where they look akward in places they normally arent most of the time. The caiman looks stunning and so does the penguin, but the penguin was used so much I'm kinda over it (but I know I'll love them once I play around with them). With all of that being said, all of the models look amazing, with one exeption: the otter. The otter model looks the worst out of the five but still looks amazing and I'm most excited about the energy they will bring to my zoo.
I feel like with all of this DLC excitement, I tend to find myself forgetting about the massive update coming on Tuesday as well! Hopefully the animal talks will work with the seal and penguin because in real zoos you always see "seal feedings" and "penguin feedings". I hope the keepers are able to talk and throw food into the exhibit just like a real zoo! That would be awsome. The other features in the update are important as well, such as new rocks, paths, a new font (I'm very excited about that), and the much needed franchise mode multi-select in the trade center!
Overall, I'm so excited to purchase this DLC and jump back into Planet Zoo (after taking a month off) at full force on Tuesday!!!
