I gave up on ED after the 1.1 release as the game didn't seem to be improving but I started again just before 1.2 was released. I have to say that 1.2 (and the patches since) have been a big improvement. Combat is more fun, I like the Vulture (haven't the spare cash for the FDL as yet), things are becoming less grindy as you can make a bit of progress quicker.
If we can get a big overhaul of the missions and the rep system (or at least an explanation of how the latter works from an authoritative source) then I'm going to call that a 100% improvement for me over the release version and v1.1. So, you should praise when deserved so Well done FD.
