The three game modes are way too similar. Sandbox still has some management features. Challenge and Franchise are way too easy. Franchise has only very minor changes compared to challenge. When I realized you can't upload your franchise parks to workshop, I blueprinted all my stuff and started over in Challenge mode. The minor extras in the online mode are so minimal that to me it's not worth to play. Getting money, CC and animals is way too easy in Franchise and Challenge mode, that it becomes more or less sandbox in a small fraction of time.
It literally feels with Frontier games like the management sim tag just gets tagged on for some easy sales to draw that crowd in, because all game modes just feel like a creative sandbox in the end. Still a really fun sandbox, but the other two modes feel rushed and tagged on just to draw in the management sim crowd, who will invariably end up disappointed.
