Three months in the black, 10 pages of systems explored...

Ok, clearly something doesn't add up, so I'll file a ticket.

I'll also note, I did spend some cash on repairs and resupply, so perhaps some of my funds went there. However, I can't imagine I spent much on that, I fly a T7, and only used a dozen or so mines chasing off an Adder who wanted to try and kill me as I was returning to "civilization."

Anyway, thanks for the input.

Isn't every visited system logged on your PC these days? Then you could maybe send your log file to FD to have the pay-out calculated.

I don't know what this means.

Where would a log of systems visited be found?
Basically, CMDR Chiggy vonrictofen (or however it is spelled) has an Earth-like World hunt, where he systematically scans for them, and recently Col Frost has been joining him, which explains why he had so much profit in such a short time scale, because ELWs are very valuable.

I honk every system and scan every star. Scan all gas giants because you usually don't have to get close to finish. I obviously scan anything non-beige and earth likes, netrons, pulsars, black holes.

Also, I travel where I am the first to discover.

Most I ever received for one system was something like 143,000 credits if I remember correctly. Ringed earth like, I scanned every planet, and I was first to discover.

I think my one trip to Colonia netted 30 million.

I have only one object that I discovered, and I don't even know what or where it is! I was out in the Pleiades on my first trip "far" from home, and somehow came across something undiscovered. When I cashed in back in the bubble, it said I'd discovered something, but I clicked past it before I realized it. Now I have no idea where it is (if anyone comes across something discovered by Mohenjo, DO let me know!).

You should definately have made more than 700k. A short hop out to Jaques and back just honking (no detail scans at all) will make 14-15mil. Unless Frontier have severely nerfed exploration payouts something isn't right here...

Two of us have now told you about EDDiscovery - it will show you exactly what systems you handed in when selling your exploration data, it shows how much you received from selling that data and it shows your discoveries.

I think the time spent exploring is a bad way to calculate earnings. I could fly of to some nearby nebula, at 100LY a day, playing 3 days a week, spend a year out and barely hit 700 systems scanned, and at an average of 30k cr/system (if you know what you are doing) that'll be a touch over 20m cr. Or... I can achieve that in a week if I know how to filter systems to give me the best chance of TFC's, or, if I farm neutrons, and know where to go to get first discovery bonuses.

10 pages, at 50 scans/page is barely 500 systems. That's about 14k cr/system, which is within what I call the expected range of income per system depending on cherry picking tendencies, or scanning systems full of rocks and ice balls.

To give you an idea, I hit about 100 systems per day of playing, and usually average about 2-3hrs on days I do play, which can be 3-6 days/week. I can knock over your 3 months trip in less than a week. Though, I guarantee I will triple your income, simple because I am familiar enough with the galaxy that I...

Know when to jonk'em,
know when to honk 'em,
know when detail scan,
know when to jump...

*drops mic*
