Throttle Control Won't Go To Zero?.

Have played ED for years with more or less the same settings on my Thrustmaster Hotas-X set up with very few problems in that time. Started up the game earlier this evening and noticed immediately that as soon as I got the okay to leave station my Corvette started moving forward I got outside and started checking. I noticed that with my throttle control in the stop position I was still doing 35ms. I paused the game went into the settings and my throttle was the same as it always has been ie "Forward Only + Inverted" . I applied it again, resumed the game and it appeared to be working fine until on arriving at my destination and noticed that instead of my usual 95-98ms with 1.5pips to engines and the throttle in the middle I was going 135ms. The problem is on landing the ship keeps going forward even with the throttle at zero. I worked out a temporary fix by setting a button to set zero speed but this is not workabele in the long term. Also noticed that my galaxy map settings have been reset as well. Does anyone have any ideas what has happened here and how to fix it?.

You could try recalibrating the throttle, but when doing so only moving the throttle to 10%-ish when told to put it to zero.

You could also try opening it up and spraying contact cleaner in the throttle pot, assuming that it has one (I don't know how doable this is as I don't have a Hotas-X).

That was an interesting piece but all my other settings in my custom bind are working just fine except for the throttle not going to zero and the speed difference at 1.5 pips on the engine at half speed on the the throttle when full of cargo and 1 pip on it when empty which has worked like that since I bought my corvette two years ago. I rather think that it must be the throttle control itself where the problem lies so I will reinstall the Thrustmaster settings file tomorrow and recalibrate the Hotas-X.

I reinstalled the latest 2018 FFD_2 for my version of the Hotas-X and this has fixed the throttle problem I was having. After I recalibrated it the throttle now goes direct to zero but my yaw control is drifting about all over the place. Anyone know how to fine tune that?. Also how do I get rid of the 0 speed setting I put in the throttle control setting screen yesterday. If I click on it I get the option set a control but not how to delete it?.

Select the binding then hit escape to delete.
