throttle position after jumping out of cruise?

I'm wondering what is going on with my throttle position in my asp after jumping out of all cruise modes.

we have to engage full throttle to jump into cruise modes but, when im coming out of any of the cruise modes my throttle can be at 0 or 100% or anything in between!?!

What is going on with my throttle position? Why does it go to some random position after jumping out of cruise?

keyboard/mouse are my controls

I always set my throttle to zero on my HOTAS as soon as the jump gets going to avoid running into the star.

Do you not set your throttle via keyboard to zero when the jump gets going?
If you don't why not try it to see the result.

Are you sure you're not pushing the throttle setting while jumping? Throttle controls are still active in the countdown.
