Thrudds trading tool

I've been trying to utilize trading tools, mainly thrudds, but am not having much luck. Most of the time I type in a system I get zero results. Couple questions.

How hard is it for myself to upload info so I can help.

How many of you do this?

Are there other trade sites I should utilize? Like have three up at once?

Thrudds is only as good as its users make it. I use it religiously, and data coverage is pretty good. You may be in an area where no other Thruddites are located.

The ED Market Connector tool can be used quite easily to import data into Thrudds, assuming the station already exists in it. That's how I quickly enter my info--but you can also do it by hand the slow way if you want.

I've used other ones, but I keep coming back to Thrudds myself.

Same here.

I get on well with Thrudds and update it as I play.

You need a login to the site and make sure you always use it - even if you're just searching for basic stuff.
It will build your reputation and open up tools for you to help out (an "Admin" button will show up at the top of the screen)

The home page on Thrudds tells you what you need to do to gain editing privileges. It is not hard, just log in (stay logged in) and use it for queries and searches as you need them. If you find a system that is not recognised drop them an e-mail and they will do their best but they generally won't have time to go get station and commodity data. I have just got to station-adding status and am slowly adding all the missing ones from my local area. One downside - my wealth source station (palladium etc) prices just went through the roof, cutting my profits by over 50% - I hope it is just coincidence. ;)

Step 1: register at elitetradingtool.co.uk
Step 2: get the ED Market Connector tool, details here: https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteTraders/comments/38o255/elite_dangerous_market_connector/
Step 3: Run ED Market Connector when you run Elite.
Step 4: When you land at a station, click on the ED Market Connector upload button.
Step 5: On Thrudd's site, Click Import, then go to the import form. Hit browse, find the data file EDMC put in your Documents directory (name of system/station/date in the filename) and double click. Then select upload, and boom, Thrudd's is now updated with the latest data from the game.

Using Thrudd's is pretty straightforward. If you're still having trouble, feel free to DM me or look me up in game and I can help you.

until FD gives us an actual official API then any trading tool will be hit-or-miss by nature because they rely on player-uploaded data to function. For this reason I abandoned most of them. Don't do much trading now anyway - having way too much fun bounty hunting :)
