thrust... space... maneuvers...

Hi all :)

Searched a bit around but couldn't find, or just badly searched ^^

Here my questions (2), which according to videos I saw, aren't quite real, or I missed a thing... or just piknicking, as you wish :D

You sit in your ship,
1. You push it to max speed, and turn off the power... the ship shouldn't loose any of its speed, shouldn't it? An object in space won't go faster or slower if no physical intervention occurs (here, thrust only, no atmosphere, no friction to slow down). Did someone tried to shut off the engine whilst max speed? Just to make sure there's no thrust inverter or so, don't know if it's even possible.... ^^

2. Also, this little blue bar next to the speed, which indicates the best maneuverability at that (blue) moment... at any speed, thrust turned off (following point 1), the ships maneuverablitiy should always be at its highest, as there's no friction...or do I miss some physics? :)

Just 2 question I'm asking myself, and thought I'd share.... thanks in advace :)
(an d, it's not of any bad intention of course, just want to dig some theories, before I get into the standart beta this eom :D )

Hi :)

1. Turn off Flight Assist and you'll get that. Flight Assist turned on will make the ship act more like an aeroplane ;)

2. FD have deliberately made "turreting" slow to stop people just sitting there spinning and shooting ;)
