Engineers Thrusters and pitch rates

A very brief question, that I can't find the answer to!

Will improving my thrusters - Dirty drive upgrade - improve a ship's pitch and turn rate? I tried it out in the beta in a Python and thought this was the case, but now I'm wondering if it was a placebo effect in my space-warped mind!

Ah, superb! Thank you. Am really enjoying flying a python, it's so versatile - but it moves like it's half asleep - any improvement would be good!

I haven't timed it, but with grade 3 dirty drive tuning my Python turns much better. As expected this is most noticeable in the blue zone. The 295 top speed and 385 boost is nothing to sneeze at either...

:)

I have finally got a decent roll on my Dirty drives lvl 3 and wow the difference it makes in a python is unreal, Cant wait till i have enough creds to buy a FAS and try them in that. Currently bounty hunting again since i upgraded my FSD to lvl 5 so i finally could dump all the crap in my cargo bay, which stops the perm interdiction's and honey trap effect. Next while im saving up for my fas is upgraded my MC to lvl 5, and repping the engie :/ , have to say tho went bounty hunting for the first time in a while since i upgraded my ship and just wow.. really kicks mc 3x3 1x 2beam 1x 2frag and just <3 the damage, turn rate, cant wait till FD unbug the permit reqired for lvl 5 Dirty Drives

Here's some screenshots of an FDL with dirty and clean drive tuning, stock pitch/roll/yaw rates are around 40/90/12, for comparison a level 5 modded Vulture has a pitch rate of over 60 degrees/sec it takes some getting used to!

Ah, excellent info - and great news for my Python (once I gather the resources!) Thank you - have some rep. And an extra biscuit with your tea.

I have grade three dirty drive tuning on various ships, It really seems to improve pitch and roll. So yes, it appears to affect all thrusters in a noticeable and positive way. ..... And that's super nice !
