Exactly how would someone "super cruse" in a tow truck?
Insurance seems the rule of what there is in ED, why make it a Tow Truck or Maintenance Ship issue?

I'm sorry for your loss... and it's a great reason for a Field Maint Unit to have the ability to fix it... but you probably couldn't fit it into the "kitted out craft" that you elude to.

If your Viper is only worth 25K in insurance, just blow it up, buy it back and hand out at a nav beacon for 10 minutes. You'll make that money back really quickly.

That's not meant to sound arrogant or dismissive; it's just a fact that 25K is not a lot of money in this game. it's less than 2t of platinum.
