Thrusters destroyed Help

I was attacked and my thrusters are destroyed what do I do now. Can't move, sitting dead in space. Help. I already restarted the game once when I ran out of fuel, don't want to restart again.

Go to your right panel then to functions and hit reboot and repair
you might have to do it more than once.

Reboot & repair, limp home

Reboot/repair on the functions menu of the right pane.

And don't get your thrusters shot out.

Its really hair-raising to do this in the middle of a battle, but a massive relief when it reboots and you have thrusters back!

Just for the records: you don't ned to restart the game if you run out of fuel. The right panel has a self-destruct button.

I had this happen to me once in my ASP, at the time i wasn't sure what the reboot/restart option did so just plumped and took the SD option. That's what the Insurance is for.

Thank you all for your Help. Tried Rebooting a couple of times, first time got 1% of my Thrusters back not enough to move. Tried a couple of times more kept on getting failed message, so I hit the SD button. Better than starting again. Thank you all.

Seriously dude? You rebooted to get your drive back online, then self destructed :/ The reboot function gives you 1%, once rebooted turn the thrusters on. That's all you needed to get home.
