I have a Thrustmaster T-Flight X Hotas .. joystick .. thing.

Button 5 (left control) has suffered a micro switch failure! It's one of those tiny 4 pin square switches and although it clicks in and out - it's permanently registered as ON.

Has anyone else had this issue? I'm wondering whether it's worth getting the soldering iron out and swapping out the microswitch.

It is easy fix.Looks like switch is broken. You need screwdriver and basic soldering knowledge and replacement switch. TM uses cheapest switches that you can find easily on eBay or in most stores. I had that hotas, I can help, just post a few photos.
