Thrustmaster Cougar MFD

Since the Support is appearently too buisy to help me I will go public with this.

Im a sim head and my rig looks accordingly. i will spare you the details but a very important item in my set up are the cougar mfds by thrustmaster. basically they are a lot of extra key made look like a panel you would find in the cockpit of an f16 or a-10. it really makes my cyber life easier when playing dcs or war thunder sim battles.

when buying elite i was under the impression it would be a standard item to support since there are so many videos out there how elite is like a space simulator and the youtubers in question all used advanced gear one would find in any serious sim head crazies set up.

however when playing the combat tutorials i noticed the lack of such support. first i thought ittl come in the final build but there i also got dissapointed. now we have seen the patch and the support for some saitec stuff got added and im still sitting here grumbeling.

so maybe you guys can help me: is there anything i missed/have to keep in mind when adding extra gear or ist there simply no support for my device? Also will Frontier ever implement the support for this or will i be forced to limit myself to the key board im having ?

if anybody is wondering what i mean: http://www.thrustmaster.com/de_DE/pr...fd-cougar-pack

If you aren't familiar with the system, you must learn it. I used it all the time when I was playing flight sims, I'm surprised you never heard of it.

you download this software

http://ahkscript.org/

then you write a simple script (example above) to give MFD buttons the commands that are mapped to keyboard in the game.

now that made more sense even have the program you suggested... still it comes as a suprise that the support is not native.
