I have one - (Hotas-X) - on my secondary PC, works just great but I don't use it much. Lots of people use it as their main controller. The buttons feel flimsy but they actually work just fine. If you can get it for free then you are in for a bargain. ;)

People say it has problems with the twist axis but as I said mine still works after 5 years - remember, not being used much, my main PC has a CHPro Fighterstick and Throttle.

I'm currently using the T.Flight Hotas One on PC and have been for weeks. It's amazing tbh. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that pressing the Xbox button on the thing changes some settings and then you don't have lateral thrusters or other issues until you turn the button off (there's a little white LED that tells you if it's on).

Overall, love it way more than controller or mouse and keyboard. I've been getting fancier in combat with it, so it definitely feels like a worthy and fulfilling investment.

I'm running it on a PC with a Ryzen 5 3600 and Windows 10 and it does just fine.

Thanks for the replies, sorry for not replying sooner but my old man has been taken into hospital and things have been chaos. Guess I'll get around to grabbing one of these sticks in a day or two then, should be a step up from the Xbox pad w/ keyboard and mouse I currently use.

I wore the first one out getting too excited during interdiction attempts.
Bought another and repaired the old one. Never used anything else so I can't
offer a comparison.

A nice thing about this HOTAS is that you can use various buttons as modifiers (like a shift-key) to multiply the functions of the other buttons.

All Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS eventually get the rudder twist jitters, some after years and my recent (last year) within a week. Couldn't be bothered to get any warranty refund due to return to France from Australia. Ultimately, I replaced it with a Thrustmaster Warthog.

Free is about what its worth and as much as i would pay for it. Every thrustmaster stick /throttle i have had has developed yaw problems. I actually wonder if they design them that way purposely so you will eventually give up and buy rudder pedals rather than get repeated returns.
They will honor return requests tho and they have nice return / support people, which is important because if you own thrustmaster products you will be talking to them often.

The kid is using it for ED for years. Just be sure that it's in PC mode (verify also in control panel / devices and printers to see if all the buttons/axes are working). Other that that, great for the money. Plays like an Xbox controller with button multipliers also.

I currently use an Xbox controller, so when I grab the stick/throttle I will most likely keep the controller plugged in and use it for the SRV.

I've been through three of them. Each T.16000 suffered yaw failure. Ultimately bought both a VKB and a Virpil stick. The VKB buttons are better placed, but the grip is a little small for my hands. I've been using the Virpil Stick and throttle and am quite satisfied.

Definite plus, get one you wont look back. YT has service videos and Hacks, so as long as you are sober and not too tarded with a screwdriver these are solid dependable and fun.
Hope my 4 years experience is helpful.
