I have created a new layout ready for 2021 (in game year 3307), I am posting it for anyone who wants to quickly set up your new TFlight HOTAS X from ThrustMaster. Or even if you are an old veteran, and wants to try another well balanced layout, then you are on the right post.
I do not own Odyssey, only Horizons, But I hope that is not a problem at all. Walking and shooting should be fast enough to add to my xml file.
This keybinding layout is meant for ThrustMaster TFlight HOTAS X
And it will provide you with 39 pre-defined buttons directly on the HOTAS.
If you never type in the chat, then you will never need to touch the keyboard. I suppose.
I've even created a very handy info-graphic, which is ready to print of course. And it is for colorblind user ready too.

I've tested this info-graphic on my 60 years old family member, who never played ED. Never ever! And with this info-graphics, he was able to learn how to fly and do most in-game actions in just 2 hours.
It's the png file, 2250x1600 pixels, so you can arrange the texts easily, if you want to make it better, without loosing the quality. I made it in MS paint, so it is not a graphical marvel.
The keybinding xml file labelled "ThrustMasterTFlightHOTASX-2021Horizons.binds", need to be copied into the following game folder. ->
..\Steam\steamapps\common\Elite Dangerous\Products\elite-dangerous-64\ControlSchemes
After copying it into this folder it will work exactly as the info-graphic shows. In the game menu under the controls roll down this label "ThrustMaster_TFlight_HOTASX" and it will work.
