Had the peddles for less than 10 minutes and I already hate them. Maybe its just me but I was expecting the rotation of the yah on the peddles to actually match atleast the direction of the stick twist but infortunately it is the complete opposite. Was already debating on sending the stick back but was really hoping the paddles would sell me and no, they are instead screwballing with my sense of direction. I'm forced to have to switch to inverted just for paddles to make sense to me but then whenever I'm going to do something quick with just the stick alone, having to switch back. Anyone know if there is a way to invert the peddle to match rotation of the hotas one stick that I may have overlooked?

I doubt it. As far as I'm aware the pedals are supposed to completely replace the twist of the stick (there's even an option to lock the stick so that it can no longer be twisted). Why do you think the pedals are backwards? Pushing the left pedal is used when turning left in a real aircraft, and vice versa. Strictly speaking one would rarely if ever turn the plane by yawing using the pedal alone, but the rudder (controlled by the pedals) is used to co-ordinate the turn with the banking of the plane.

I guess it's largely historical, where the left pedal (I thought my earlier spelling didn't look right) was connected by wire to a lever on the left side of the rudder, so it pulled it to the left, etc.
I think the Thrustmaster pedals are probably hard-wired to map to the twist of the stick, so as Mars Starcruiser has discovered, the inversion applies to both.
Yep its because the sticks have to work on OTHER flight titles that are Flight games Including Ace combat 7, Aircraft use Left pedal for left yaw , As do helicopters...
The stick was never built for Space games they were built long before elite dangerous ever supported it as they are a clone of PAST gen hotas released and not brand new
They are modified for Xbox ace combat 7 delayed release build, it was only after Ace combat 7 got mega delayed did the stick release for other games on Xbox one...
