Thrustmaster TFRP Rudder Pedal support

Are we ever likely to get it for PS4? I was looking at investing in the T.Flight HOTAS 4, but I'm a bit concerned about there not really being that many more button options than on the DS4. I'm not really keen on the idea of twist-stick yaw, and having the compatible pedals available for it would free up the paddles on the throttle for other selectables e.g. next hostile or fire-group selection. Before I drop another 70-odd quid on E: D (and then the same again for the pedals!) I'd like to be sure I'd be getting value for it, otherwise I won't bother and will stick with the DS4.

With that thought in mind, any HOTAS 4 users out there? Do you use the twist yaw rather than throttle paddles, and if so how comfortable do you find it?

EDIT: Just found the HOTAS 4 available at Argos for £48! PRETTY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FDEV, can you get the compatible pedal set supported? :D

See my sig for more on the HOTAS \/

I thought I would find the twist yaw uncomfortable and it would strain my wrist but it’s totally fine for me I’ve had no problems.

I Primarily use a HOTAS 4. I actually bought the HOTAS before i bought the game, so the only thing i've played ED on is a HOTAS. I'll be honest i don't think i could ever play the game with a standard controller. If my HOTAS ever malfunctioned i think id have to shelve the game until id bought a new HOTAS. The twist Yaw works perfectly fine and I've had no issues with it what so ever, i find there is no strain on my wrists after using it for several hours. If there is one thing i'd recommend anyone buying this game is to buy the HOTAS first (i've heard numerous people playing with the controller first that they struggle to than adapt to the HOTAS, i had read that myself, that's why i refused to buy and play the game until i bought the HOTAS) hope that helps, if you have anymore questions let me know :)

Thanks for the prompt and positive responses guys, it's made my mind up! Now I just need to let Santa know I've been very, very good... and that it's currently on sale! [haha]

Bought the hotas last week. Played game on pc with oculus thrustmaster warthog ch products pedals. It was pain. Now on ps4 hotas 4 is amazing easy. And yes yaw is useful. No Pain on wrist.

I can use the ds4 but i feel very ungain with it.... problem is i really like to beable to look around my cabin whilst flying which is dificult to pull off on the hotas particularly as i cant figure out how to use the hatswitch to look around without causing issues ☹

Also has anyone managed to map headlook to the hatswitch?

Nonetheless I would love if they support it. C’mon guys it’s only a few lines of code! This would add this much to the realism the Commanders Rest their feet on pedals to! Or did anybody recognize your avatar twists his stick and I didn’t?

As I don't want to create new thread (and last one was locked by mod) I'm going to resurect and use this older one ... hope it's OK. Well, recently I saw several questions/requests regarding Thrustmaster Rudder pedals .. and yes ... I know it isn't supported yet ...

but (just out of curiosity) if it's supported, how will you use it ? I mean which controls will you assign to them ? Lateral thrusters or yaw or .. something else ? I'm not experienced gamer at all, so I'd like to know what bonus those pedals could bring ...

I have added this request to the new and improved wishlist. I was going to close this but you do raise a worthy point TW so will leave this open for now.
